As a leading Hindu-American organization, Hindu Swayamsevak Sangha USA Inc. (HSS) plans a nationwide observance of Swamiji’s birth anniversary to celebrate his vision of “Universal Peace through Dharma and Yoga”; the event is called Dharma and Yoga Festival. HSS has done various nationwide events this year to celebrate SV 150, leading up to the Dharma and Yoga Festival. The “Dharma and Yoga Festival” during the month of September will be scheduled simultaneously on a regional basis to commemorate Swamiji’s Chicago Address on September 11, 1893.

In the South Bay we are celebrating DYF on September 14, in Mission College, Santa Clara from 11 am to 9 pm.

Broadly, the program will consist of the following:

- Krishna Leela – Performing Lord Krishna’s life events by 250+ children from Bay Area.

- Four tracks of YOGA (Bhakti, Gnana, Raja and Karma) and a Hindu Theme Park

- The event will be graced by dignitaries such as Tulsi Gabbard—First Hindu Congress Woman

- Grand finale by Anuradha Paudwal and others

In this regard, we need generous sponsorship for this grand occasion, in which we are expecting many thousands of attendees.
