We are writing on behalf of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA Inc. (HSS) to invite you to participate in the “Dharma and Yoga Fest.” This daylong event is being organized to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s 150th Birth Anniversary in 2013 by celebrating his vision of “Universal Peace Through Dharma and Yoga”. 

The Dharma and Yoga Fest will be held on Sep 14^th 2013 at Mission College Santa Clara, CA. Event will be graced by dignitaries such as Tulasi Gabbard—First Hindu Congress Woman, devotional Singer from India Smt Anuradha Paudwal and others. 

       We are estimating huge crowd of people attendance and is being supported by 100+ organizations.

Swami ji’s advancement of Dharma in the modern era uniquely resonates with Hindu-Americans. Swami ji’s ideas of Yoga, Karma, and the Spiritual Oneness of humanity have a growing appeal in America. This has also led to the popularity of practices such as Hatha Yoga, Ayurveda, and Meditation. The concept of the plurality of spiritual paths, originally stated in the Rig Veda and invoked by Swami ji in his Chicago Address finds continuing relevance even today in resolving religious conflict.

Broadly the program consists of:

- Krishna Leela – Performing Lord Krishna’s life events by 300+ children from Bay Area.

- Four tracks of YOGA (Bhakti, Gnana, Raja and Karma) and a Hindu Theme Park. 

- Cultural dance performance by various dance studios of Bay Area and Youth track events.

- Grand finale by Anuradha Paudwal and others.

- Day long event with Free Admission and Free Food.
