Here's our song. It's sang to the tune of the Spanish corrido "La Cucaracha" which became famous during the Mexican revolution. No IPR issues, he he.

We feel the current and past campaigns against vote buying simply do not connect with the masses. Either the concept of good governance is too abstract, or the campaign itself istoo preachy, or judgemental, or all of the above. I think we may have found the silver bullet.

The song uses the Filipino's patience and self-deprecating humor despite the odds. If this song gets off the ground, and I think it will, then we will hit the vote-buyers where it hurts the most: we will make vote-buying irrelevant. Or at least a tool of the past politicos since people will noe "Copras" them.

I can attach the lyrics if you're interested, but I want to to listen to it first to find out if the recurring message is loud and clear. Let me know what your think. I value your feedback.

If you like the irreverent song and its message, you have my permission to air it. Will give you first crack at this. Then, if you don't mind, I will ask other stations if they would like to air it as well.

Regards,
JK
