Hello,

I have installed dxf2gcode in Windows 10.

for this I downloaded and installed DXF2GCODE-2019.10.25-win32.msi.

+

according to the conversation in the google group also copied the directory i8n in the same folder to DXF2GCODE.

drotzdem I see no translation in german.

Please ask for help.

Hallo Hans,

 

i cannot see the reason why this is not working. You can try to install dxf2gcode development environment an hope that you get the translation running with the other environment. For the Windows version  I can only suggest to recheck again if all files are available in the described folder / enable the debugging to file and send the log here in order to get a bit more information.

Endlich konnte ich es testen.

Fazit:

Dxf2gcode startet nur im Admin-Konto in deutscher Sprache.

21:28 12.01.2021

Starten per doppelklick im Explorer auf dxf2gcode im Adminkonto.

Ergebnis: läuft deutschsprachig.

Starten über Startmenü im Adnimkonto:

Ergebnis: läuft englischsprachig.

Kontrolle Verknüpfung im Startmenü:

Ziel: "D:\Program Files (x86)\DXF2GCODE\dxf2gcode.exe"

Ausführen in: leer

Kontrolle in C:\Users\Harry_Admin_Home\.config\dxf2gcode

die beiden Verzeichnisse sind nun wieder da.

Verknüpfung aus dem Startmenue im Dateispeicherort lokalisiert und gelöscht.

Im Verzeichnis: D:\Program Files (x86)\DXF2GCODE

von der dxf2gcode.exe eine Verknüpfung erstellt. Davon Kopie in den Speicherort des Starmenues kopiert.

Unter Eigenschaften Veknüpfung geprüft:

Ziel: "D:\Program Files (x86)\DXF2GCODE\dxf2gcode.exe"

Ausführen in: "D:\Program Files (x86)\DXF2GCODE"

Eintrag im Startmenü im Adminkonto geöffnet-> Dxf2gcode läuft auf deutsch.

Finally I could test it.

Conclusion:

Dxf2gcode starts only in the admin account in German language.

Start by double clicking in explorer on dxf2gcode in admin account.

Result: runs in german language.

Result: runs in English.

Control shortcut in the start menu:

Target: "D:\Program Files (x86)\DXF2GCODE\dxf2gcode.exe".

Run in: empty

Control in C:\Users\Harry_Admin_Home\.config\dxf2gcode

the two directories are now back.

Link from the start menu in the file location located and deleted.

In the directory: D:\Program Files (x86)\DXF2GCODE

created a shortcut from the dxf2gcode.exe. Copied a copy of it to the location of the Startmenu.

Checked shortcut under properties:

Run in: "D:\Program Files (x86)\DXF2GCODE".

Entry in Startmenue opened in admin account-> Dxf2gcode runs in german.

Did you try to execute as admin option from Windows, can you use that option anyhow?

ich bin mir nicht 100% sicher, doch dachte ich dass man das irgendwie einstellen kann, dass ein Programm immer als Admin gestartet wird.
