Why does dxf2gcode ignore layers that are line hatched surfaces ?

If I draw, say a closed square and then create another layer, and then in this layer I create a solid line hatch pattern that fills the entire square.

Why does dxf2gcode ignore this solid line layer.   ?

It would really be useful if it doesnt.

It would make it really easy to just flatten a workpiece before machining, using the gcode generated for the solid line hatch.

Please cancel this question. The reason for whoever has the same problem is that CAd programs create a HATCH as a Block automatically.
Dxf2gcode will ignore the block as it is unroutable.

What you need is to select the HATCH and the explode it.

ONLY then does dxf2gcode create gcode for the HATCH.

Fantastic... this saves me a\n enormous amount of time.
