The only difference between inches and mm is to have a scale inbetweeen
of 1inch/25,4mm. Just use the scale function in the toolbar.

It would be great to have a preference to switch between metric and inches.  is there any plan to add this feature?

Hi Chris,

what you need to  output inches instead of metrics. I think everything can be done by scaling the output with 25,4 (25,4mm = 1 inch as a remember (TBC)). Up to now there is nothing additional planed, but what you need need in the preferences, only the possibisilty to choose values for scale instead of 1 as a preference?

Hi Chris,

this version was not created from me. I think thats just a wording change in python. There is no big deal to use inch or mm, its just about scaling and wording. If you really want to change that in the code you need to edit your python files. Up to now ther is no option in the code to change the wording from [mm] to [inch]. Withing the import and export there is no difference if you import inch or mm its all without units. The units are done in your CNC and your dxf-files.
