Why does my gcode repeat itself after converting from DXF to Gcode?

Just wanted to say good job to the team responsible for this freeware program! I had a quick question.

I'm doing some hobbyist engraving with my father - we're doing simple "discrete" engraving, ie, we just want to draw along a material.

Let's say I draw a shape in a DXF file, I notice the Gcode generated from this program will do the correct steps in producing the shape, but then for some reason it'll draw backwards again in the second half of the Gcode file. So the code generated looks symmetric. Is there anyway to just have the Gcode only produce the shape and not go backwards afterwards? I don't mind modifying my Gcode in notepad to remove this second half, but is there a way for me not to have to do that each time?
