Dear Friends,

DX2019 is in only two weeks and it is still not too late to book your travel to Klagenfurt if you haven't done so yet!

We secured two great invited speakers - Louise Travé-Massuyès and Meir Kalech - and prepared a great workshop and social program. Check the website for further information and updates.

See you soon in Klagenfurt,
Konstantin, Gregory, and Roni

About DX:
We are delighted to invite you to the 30th edition of the International Workshop on Principles of Diagnosis (DX ’19). With an Artificial Intelligence focal point, the aim of the annual DX Workshop is to unite researchers and practitioners with diverse backgrounds in order to leverage research in the global context of diagnosis, that is, identifying the root causes for encountered malfunctions.

About the program:
The 30th edition of the Workshop brings you a rich program of selected contributions in a range of diagnosis-related fields, including diagnosis of hybrid and discrete-event systems, testing, process-based diagnosis, and applications of DX methods in the real-world scenarios. An overview of the program is available on the conference website.

About the venue:
DX’19 will take place in Klagenfurt, Austria, which is situated at the beautiful Lake Wörthersee – one of the largest and warmest Alpine lakes in Europe. Klagenfurt is not only a lively city but also a very historical town: predominantly Italian master builders have determined the appearance of the old town. Discover magnificent Renaissance buildings, facades renovated true to the original style and shady arcaded inner courtyards on a stroll through the old town; see the beauty of the sacral buildings on a church walk; or visit one of the many museums, castles, and galleries. The city’s valley is surrounded by three mountain ranges, which offer various hiking routes within a 30-40 minutes drive from the conference site.

Klagenfurt International Airport and close proximity to Ljubljana - the capital of Slovenia - allow for a comfortable journey to the DX19 venue. Please check the website for registration, travel details, visa support, and accommodation suggestions:

We look forward to seeing you at DX’19!
