Workshop dates 2012

Dear all,
the results of the poll seem very clear. Only seven people said yes
to the June date, with another eight saying they could do that date if
necessary. In comparison, 16 said yes to the July/Aug date, with
another two indicating they could do it if need be. A couple of people
emailed to suggest a date later in the year, but frankly at this stage
I'm not willing to try the patience of the venue any more than I
already have.

I'll go ahead and arrange the workshop for July 31 to Aug 3. Following
last year's schedule, we'll start on the Tuesday morning and finish at
lunch on the Friday to give people a chance to travel home that day.

I'll send the call for papers to the list as soon as I have
confirmation from the venue.

Thanks to everyone who voted, and my sincere apologies to the five
people who said they couldn't make those dates.

By the way, there is another possibility. Collocate with PHM Europe Dresden July 3-5. I wish I had suggested this earlier. It would simplify your overhead greatly and DX people are already involved with it.
