Is the deadline for submission of the final version of our algorithms
still tomorrow (August 22nd), and if so, will the submission process
be the same as for the placeholder versions?

We will be meeting tomorrow to decide the duration of the extension (There will be an extension for sure given that we are meeting tomorrow). However we strongly recommend that you try to submit as soon as possible.

And yes the submission process is the same. Once we have set a deadline, we will just use the latest submission (at the time of deadline expiration) as the final version. If you already have a final version then please let us know and we can start running the competition software early.
