Hello everyone

I could use a little help in getting the message out about our Management Team meeting this month and about Management Teams in Genneral.

Management Team Attendance is down city wide, so we all have to make an effort to keep the interest level up. I spent half the day today delivering in person 300 flyers to residences around the area. We can also use a good email campaign and if every one forwards the message it should make a difference.

Will you please cut and paste my message below and send it to anyone you think would have an interest in coming to our meetings.

Thank you so much and I hope to see you on Tuesday.
best
Andy Ross

Do you know what a Community Management Team is?

You are cordially invited to attend the Downtown/Wooster Square Community Management Team (DWSCMT) meeting. We meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 pm at City Hall. Each month the Police Manager for Downtown/Wooster Square Lt. Rebecca Sweeney comes and relays the police activity for the month. Additionally we have guest presenters on subjects that are important to the area. This is also a great venue for people to express their wishes, concerns or desires for their neighborhood. Please try to make an effort to come to a meeting and hear more about what is going on in your neighborhood. We listen! We effect change and get things done!

The Management team has been in place and has been for 20 years representing the Downtown/Wooster Square area. (I have attached a paper that describes who we are and what we do) There are 11 Teams throughout New Haven.

Slated for this Tuesday the 15th of May, is Michael Piscitelli, AICP

Deputy Economic Development Administrator City of New Haven. He will discuss the construction of I-95 and how it will impact Wooster Square over the next year or so.

Please read the following message from Michael Piscitelli, AICP

Deputy Economic Development Administrator City of New Haven

We are confirmed for May 15, Downtown/Wooster Sq. management team at 6:00. DOT will be sending a representative or two to go over the forecast construction work on the Q-Bridge project which as you know ties into I-91. This includes some remaining Amtrak tree clearing on the right-of-way. My understanding from LCI is that it is not extensive but needs to be shared with you the team as it is night-work which can be loud and unsettling without advance notice. Linda Davis will be the city's point of contact 203-946-7888, but I will stop by as well. We can touch on other updates re: Downtown Crossing, the new parking meter times to fill the agenda if you need anything.

I hope to see new faces at our next meeting. The meetings last one hour. Cheese and crackers will be served.

If you have any questions you can reach me at 203-641-4666 or a...@andyrossgroup.com

Thank you,
