Subject: Anything wrong with the following query?

Guys, I intend to use it in my code, the column used in the join condition is the one to be updated too! Just a one time update for a migration activity.

Nothing seems wrong to me,what do you think.

Have you done something similar?

UPDATE dbo.A

SET product_id = X.si_product_id

FROM dbo.A L

INNER JOIN B X ON L.product_id = X.legacy_product_id

Thanks in advance for any advice J !

Thanks

Md  Mushir Alam
