Following the success of the first SUE-MoT conference in Glasgow last year, the
SUE-MoT consortium is pleased to announce the Second International Conference
on Whole Life Urban Sustainability and its Assessment on 22-24 April 2009 at
Loughborough University, Loughborough, UK. SUE-MoT is an EPSRC funded project
in collaboration with University of Dundee, Loughborough University, University
of St Andrews and University of Glasgow Caledonian. It would be appreciated if
you could display the attached flier on your notice boards and/or circulate
this email to individuals and networks with an interest in Sustainable Urban
Development.
Abstract submissions
Online abstract submissions can be made via the conference website at http://sue-mot.org/conference/.
The deadline for abstract submissions is 15 October 2009. Abstracts are
particularly invited relating to the following themes:
- Urban planning and design for sustainability
- Sustainable buildings: design, performance and assessment
- Quality of life in the urban environment
- Stakeholder participation
- Urban sustainability and the move to low carbon development
- Measures, assessment theory, complexity and uncertainty
