Hedgehog Party Invitation

This is a general reminder about the Hedgehog Party, which takes place
on the Saturday of the Convention at 22.00 till…well, basically the
small hours, really :-) If you’ve been to a Hedgehog Party before,
then you’ll know how it goes…food, balloons, music, chat, and general
conviviality. If you’re a first-time Conventioner, this is a great
time for meeting people and joining in. If you’ve been to a couple of
Discworld Conventions before, this is a great time for meeting up with
old friends and probably dancing with them at some point.

This party is for everyone at the Convention – I’ll stress that bit
again, *everyone*! It’s traditionally been known as an event run by
afpers for everyone, but in recent years it has become an event run by
everyone for everyone who wants to come along :-)

What to bring: Food! Chocolate, crisps, nuts, salty liquorice, cake,
chocolate covered coffee beans…anything you think people might like.
(If you’re bringing cake, it might be a good idea to bring along an
ingredients list too for people who need to avoid certain things).
Also, balloons! Any type, any shape, including suggestive shapes
bordering on the rude *g*. And stuff to blow them up with too.

What to also bring: Music! You may have seen that Shevek isn’t going
to be making it this year, therefore we need plenty of cheesy party
music. Hunter and myself (CCA) have got some, but anyone who can
bring along CDs and doesn’t mind us playing them will be very welcome.

And also: Games! Anyone who can bring stuff like Twister along,
please do – they always go down really well :-)
