Weather in Birmingham?

What's the weather like in Birmingham at the moment? I'm living in Munich, where it's 35 degrees at the moment and I'm wearing as little clothing as possible. Sometimes less. Now, I know I'll be spending the weekend inside the Hilton, but I'd like to make an effort to be prepared just in case. Is it summer in the UK? Anything approaching summer weather? Should I pull out my winter wardrobe? I lived in the UK this time last year, but I have no recollection of the weather...

The current forecast for the weekend is 16-18C with a bit of cloud, a
bit of rain, and a bit of sunshine :-)

My Met office app says it will feel like 17-14c with heavy rain friday and saturday light rain on Sunday

The sun does make an appearance

I don't know about the weather in Birmingham, but I do remember the "weather" inside of the Metropole two years ago... The air conditioning was working rather effectively, many of the rooms were quite cold. Someone said the gala dinner was taking place in a "giant fridge"... Maybe you should bring a sweater or something, just to be on the safe side.
