Tumblr?
What on earth was the thinking behind Tumblr? "I know, let's take a
blog, and remove anything remotely useful (such as comments or
understandable navigation), and make it ridiculously easy to duplicate
content. That'll work!"
The odd thing is that it did work. Tumblr is popular. People are weird.
(On reflection, much the same could be said of Twitter. A truly
incomprehensible platform, which is popular for reasons I cannot
grasp.)
