The Blind Persons Association(Regd.) is an NGO working for the welfare of the visually disable persons. According to Mr.Anil Kumar Verma-President- B.P.A., "The association is actively doing remarkably for the welfare of the blind and taking care of education and providing hostel and lodging facilities to the blind girls."

On Sunday,19th; May, at 7P.M. B.P.A. is arranging the marriage of Pompi with Sulabh Aggrawal . "The marriage will be held at Global Convent Senior Secondary School in front of Pocket-A, Phase-2, Sector-13, Dwarka. The prominent figures from different parts of the city will attend the marriage and shower their blessings to the newly wed couple ." informs Mr. S.S.Dogra-Patron-B.P.A. The necessary items like furniture, utensils, almirah, bed, clothes jewellery besides ration etc. may be donated. Moreover, all donations are exempted from Income Tax under Section 80G of I T Act. 

The residents of the sub-city and its surrounding can donate willingly for the noble cause.

Trial session for Delhi L’il Cricket League™ (DLCL) U-14 & U-19 players will begin from Sunday, 19th May 2013.


Selection round would take place at Basava International School, Sector-23, Dwarka on 19th May at 9 AM onwards. To get better selection out of Delhi there are five trials will be held in Delhi and one trial each will be held in NCR i.e; Gurgaon, Noida, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad and Fridabad etc. This initiative step for upcoming cricketing generation is taken by Human Research and Development (Registered) (HRDO)-NGO who has successfully organized DLCL in 2011 and 2012 also. It looks a best platform for the budding cricketers to show their talent in front of national & international reputed players & coaches.

According to Mr. Ganesh Dutt-Chairman of HRDO, “We will select 16 teams for U-19 & eight teams for U-14 age group. On 2nd October, with a grand opening ceremony at Talkatora Stadium, the tournament will start and final match will be palyed at Air Force Cricket ground, Palam. On 14th November, we will felicitate the outstanding players of the tournament in a grand closing ceremony”.
This T20 overs tournament ( DLCL) has got recognition from Indian Premier Corporate League (Indian Twenty20 Cricket Federation (ITCF) approved by Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs - Government of India.
