	DDA Dwarka. It has been more than 3 decades since Dwarka sub-city is inhabitated. But we are still struggling with basic issues of footpaths not as per specifications, potholes on roads, broken boundary wall, debris not cleared, high footpaths etc. There could be various reason for this like incapability, corruption, carelessness, administrative bottlenecks or others. The bottom line is qualified DDA engineers have failed in delivering very basis services to the society and are several notches behind the mark. Al through we have issued dozens of letters but things are not moving. In this back-ground please provide information on following 2 points: (1) Around 2 months back a portion of road from Kargil Chowk to KM Chowk, near overbridge over drain was carpeted. This was done to cover some potholes and rough surface but surprisingly the potholes are again visible on this very stretch. How can potholes emerge within 2 months of carpeting except that the quality of carpeting was extremely poor. In this 2 months period, there has not been even a single instance of heavy rain despite that big size layers of new carpeting have eroded. So, please provide following information: (i)           The names of staff members those have supervised this work during execution? (ii)          The names of staff members those have certified the quality of work enabling release of payment to contractor? (iii)         Date of completion of work and date of release of payment to contractor? (iv)        What is the warranty period of this carpeting? (v)          Whether contractor has been advised to repair these new potholes? If yes, on which date and what are the timelines? (vi)        All facts and reasons responsible for failure of DDA engineers in detecting this poor quality work at construction stage? (2) In whole of Dwarka, there is issue with zebra crossing NOT even a single zebra crossing has been painted/maintained as per specification. Besides locational issue one surprising matter is the fixation of grills? At many places grills have been fixed in front of zebra crossing indicating a total mindless work. This is clearly an attempt to endanger pedestrians life by preventing them from crossing the road. Further, there are many zebra crossings where height of central verge and/or footpath is much more than the height prescribed by UTTIPEC i.e. 15 cm. In this regard please (1) provide a list of all zebra crossings in Dwarka where grills have been fixed in front along with a list of responsible officers for this illegal activity? (2)    provide a list of all zebra crossings in Dwarka where height of central verge and footpaths is exceeding 15 cm. along with a list of responsible officers for filing a complaint with LG.
