I got to know from my society that for electricity they charge Rs 5.5/unit for first 400 unit and Rs 7.5/unit for units above 7.5 when the tariff in delhi is as follows.
0-200 rs 3.7/unit
200-400 Rs 5.5/unit
above 400 rs 6.5/Unit.

this makes huge difference in the bill.

we have common supply in the society and sub-meter for every flat.

how it is calculated in other societies? is there any separate tariff charge for RWA?
can I get the detail somewhere in the net?

Thanks

Hi, In Aishwaryam Apartments, the Tariff is being charged compentent wise i.e. Fixed charges charged @ Rs 20 per KW ( multiplied by the KW Load sanctioned for each flat) Fixed Tariff of Rs 5.44 per Unit and Electricity Tax on Electricity consumed @ 5% However, Society gets the rebate @ 15% on the total bill for timely payment which is not passed on to the residents.
