Mr. Ram Singh,

Thanks for writing to Dwarka Forum and your trust in DF.

We have gone throught the content of your letter

As you may aware that we have been taking up issue of HEAVY and Light Vehicles Movements through Dwarka and been sucessfully getting Delhi Traffic Police a recommendation for the same as Notification Draft to Transport Department. Reason best know and may be due to CORRUPT Nexus with Transporters the Transport department have not so far Published this No Entry for various roads of Dwarka. We are following up in the matter. Since the DTP is not fully in control without No Entry Zone notification by Transport, we may see these vehicles.

Some immediate solution can be found , which in our opinon are following

1. Please contact your neighbouring socities all along the road where this noise. A united front will help us a lot.
Please contact the TI Dwarka Rajkumar 9871391204 and speak to him about these vehicular movements. Since most of these vehicles uses internal roads to avoid taxation, enforcement and other due to OVER LOADS. It may be good if the DTP could takesome action on those violation which are in their control.

2. Please take more tree sapling all along that road and get in touch with Horiticulture.

3. For long term solution.

I would request you or your CGHS along with other CGHS/DDA in that road make represenation to Chairman Delhi Pollution Control Board Mr. Keshav Chandra.

We may not be able to control fully this noise pollution as ENFORCMENT is minimum, but we can certaily get some results if we acts and follow up regularly on our grievances.

May be other members also have more suggestion and better idea to solve this issue short term and long term.

In this matter raising the issue and escalate the matter higher you need any assistance, pleae let us know.

Regards,

I have come to know that the “DWARKA FORUM” is committed to solve the problems of the Residents of Dwarka, New-Delhi and taking welfare/social steps for the Dwarka Sub city, New-Delhi.

I got my Flat allotted in Jawaharlal c.g.h.s, Plot No.-09, Sector-05, Dwarka, New-Delhi in 2009. When I shifted to my Flat I faced a biggest problem of “NOISE POLLUTION” during the night. During the whole night the heavy vehicles such as Trucks, Bulldozers, Dumper, Tractors, etc... keeps running with penetrating pressure horns, noise of their tyres, etc...,. During the whole night there is no relief from noise and the whole environment is noisy.

When the DDA planned for Dwarka Sub city as residential area with “Zero Tolerance Zone” then why so much noise pollution for the residents? It feels that we are not sleeping in a Flat in a residential area but somewhere else. During the day it can be tolerated because there is no other solution. We are forced to tolerate during the night in a zero tolerance zone.

I would like to draw your kind attention of the case of vasant kunj residents, how they fought against the noise pollution created by the flying air crafts and the court was in favour of the problems of residents for the noise pollution and action was taken. They got relief from the noise pollution and are sleeping peacefully without stress.

I hereby request that some action may be taken to reduce the noise pollution on Road-201 and to approach the concerned higher authorities for the diversion of the heavy vehicles such as Trucks, Dumpers, Tractors, etc… to other route other than Road-201 during the night hours.

Most of the residents whose Flats are facing towards the Road-201 ,are facing the same problems but they are thinking that nothing will be done if they approach to concerned higher authorities and only their time will be wasted. This is because they have no faith in the system.

I am confident that if the “DWARKA FORUM” will take up the issue of the diversion of heavy vehicles during night hours on Road-201, Dwarka, New-Delhi with the concerned higher authorities, we will surely get relief.

Thanking You

RAM ASHRAYA SINGH
