My Tata telecom device was activated after over one month of its purchase after I have taken up this issue vigorously my sending mails almost daily and receiving vague replies every time.  Even the company misrepresented that it sent a representative to verify my address. Last month, I lodged a complaint with TRAI attaching all the mails and a brief, totalling 35 to 40 pages.

Yesterday, I received the following mail from Tata Teleservices Ltd. which is self-explanatory but I do not know how to react. The complaint was not made for a compensation of Rs. 400/- and the Company has not informed about my query of false claim of sending a representative who submitting negative report about my residence.  Also, Company has not mentioned any action against its erring staff.

I shall be thankful if u can guide on my response on the mail.

As far as MTNL is concerned they generate next bill after deducting the amount which have caused inconvenience to the customer. Regarding action taken on staff - MTNL issue Memo to staff / official concerned (it seems) as I got a call from the official responsible for delayed action and enquired whether the service (be it net or telephone) is satisfactory.
So Gupta Sir, firms only compensate by reducing charges for the specific period only. Pink slip is not issued to employee.
