Dwarka Collection camps ( 26th Sept, 2nd & 3rd Oct’10) from 11 AM to 2 PM

 

·         Venue-1: 26th September (Sunday): Infront (Footpath) of Aggarwal Sweets & Restaurants, Sector 12

 

·         Venue-2: 2nd October (Saturday): Infront (Footpath) Brahma Apartments, Plot No. 7, Sector-7

 

·         Venue-3: 3rd October (Sunday): Infront (Footpath) New Millennium Apt., Plot No. 2, Sector-23

Contribute:

Wearable old/new clothes, utensils, footwear, dry ration, sewing machine, umbrellas, newspapers & magazines, one sided used papers, school material, books, old cycle, toys, old audio/video cassette etc. and monetary contributions (Please refer attached leaflet for more details)

GOONJ will be spreading 'Vastra Samman' & 'School to School' initiatives across many cities of India during this week. Our journey of more than 12 years has been impactful because of thousands of supporters & well- wishers like you. Do join us in spreading this as a mass movement.

Here is how you can make this mass movement your own;

  • Organise awareness cum collection camps for 'Vastra Samman ' and  ‘School to School’ in your  offices, residential societies, schools, collages etc. Please do go through the important guidelines http://www.goonj.org/organisevs.html.For any queries, feel free to write back on mail...@gmail.com 
  •  Do confirm your participation on mail...@gmail.com. 
  • GOONJ will be highlighting 2nd October as the mass collection day, opening up a few public centers for a single day where only individuals can go and contribute. These centres could be anybody's house or a community centre in any locality, colleges with a storage capacity for 5-8 days. Do let us know if you can work out this kind of centre/s in your city. The updated list of final public collection centers will go up on www.goonj.org by September 20th     
  • Space; Around (2000 sq ft) in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Jalandhar, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Ahemdabad, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Indore, Jamshedpur, Jaipur, Bhubneshwar, Ludhiana, Lucknow & Nagpur.
  • Transport support for the above mentioned cities. 
  • Volunteers in different cities where GOONJ is running the Vastra Samman campaign. Write to us for more details.
  • Financial support to organize this nationwide campaign.
  • Support GOONJ during this week in the India Giving Challenge- http://www.giveindia.org/give/pledgepage/GoonjVastrasamman  meant to help NGOs raise financial resources. It’s a safe online giving portal opened from today till 20th Oct’10.
