By banning this, Delhi govt. has shown that its priority is health and fight from cancer and not revenue generation. Such pro-active steps are required to stop opening of new wine shops.

You are right Guptaji but let us accept the fact that al least some action has been taken.This may further build some pressure on the Govt FOR your demand.We have example where some state Govt in India and even  many countries Govt has banned liquor.

I m not advocating total ban but do not want that the liquor should be available at every nook and corner and in residential areas mainly inhabited by labour class. This has ruined the families and social values.

The liquor major consumption by well todo as I understand (not an expert in this matter)

while Gutka and these Pan Masala consumed by poor Labour class and end up with Horrifying cancer etc.

There is NO DOUBT ALCAHOL is very dangerous- Many among us may be habitual to this. It cause lot of problem for families and society

The Govt should look for alternate source of Revenue, just because Beer,Wine and other products bring more revenue make it affordable at every door step is not right policy, every poltical authority and boora-crazy promote it for their own self interest.

my friend had lost his mobile and he came to know that the police found his mobile and other mobile. He registered the complaint at sector 9 police station and he went to sector 16 B police station where they have mobiles. He went there with the copy of complaint and bill of the mobile to prove his ownership. Now they r not returning the mobile. Any sufferers of dwarka forum and suggestions.

One complaint dted. 8.7.2012 from my side is also pending with Sector 16-B, Dwarka for embezzlement and there is no action from their side.  Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Sub. Insp. is incharge of my case and when I approached he replied that you can approach any of the higher authorities, and tell that I am not taking any action about your complaint.  I complained the matter to Sh. Neeraj Kumar, CP, DCP, Dwarka, Jt. Commissioner, Dwarka and Public Grievance cell also.  In view of the above it is very clear that they are not co-operative but support the criminals.

Mr. Babu, since u have sent your complaint to higher authorities, I am sure u will get justice. wait for few days may be a fortnight.  U can also go to Public Grievance Commission, Vikas Bhavan, ITO against the Delhi Police. See the details of PGC on-line. 
Against the reported remarks of sub-inspector, u can meet SHO/ACP/DCP.  In my case last year, I had to meet the DCP, Shri Anil Kumar Ojha and the SHO had to write an FIR in the case of running of an agent of a fake placement agency doing frauds in the name of providing domestic helps.  After inquiry, full inquiry was conducted.

Start writing mails to the Commissioner of Police directly. When the application comes from top to bottom, it becomes more effective. And for all pending complaints, do not waste time and resources visiting police stations, instead file a simple RTI.
