Dwarka Ramlila created a new history in Delhi & NCR

This year, the permission from Delhi police, particularly D.C.P. Mr.Anil Kumar Ojha, A.C.P.Mr.Samay Singh Meena, S.HO.-Mr.S.Puskarana timely support made it possible. Moreover, the good wishes of our well wishers played an important role.
The team of more than hundred dedicated & devoteed volunteers to made this event more successful. Sh.Rajesh Gahlout (former Deputy Mayor & Member D.D.A.) -the Chief Patron of the society. Sh.Krishan Gahlout, Sh.Robin Sharma, Sh. Ashok Sharma, Sh.Mukesh Sinha, Sh.Ashok Jaiswal, Sh.Chandershekhar Rai, captain Pramod Kumar, Sh.Rajesh Aggrawal, Surender Matiyala, Sh.Shashi Tomar, Sh.Aadesh Tyagi were the patrons of the society. Sh.Rajiv Solanki was the General Secretary, Sh.Satish Swami was the treasurer, Sh.Bhupender Maan, Sh.Sanjeev Goyal, Sh.Kuldeep Dabas, Sh.Surender Anand, Sh.Jai Bhagawan Kataria, Adesh Walia representing as Vice Presidents post.
Sh.Ramesh Sharma-Organising Secretary, Sh.Yudhvir Dabas, Sh.Pravesh Sehrawat, Sh.Satbir Solanki, Sh.Suresh Solanki- as Secretary. Sh.Pradeep Mishra-Legal Adviser, Sh.Deepak Kumar, Ms.Sukhvinder Kaur, Sh. Rajesh Kumar as members. Sh.Rakesh Mehra, Sh.Vinod Upadhyay & Sh. Phool Kumar as the executive members along with one hundred volunteers were looking after the whole arrangements of the grand event in Dwarka.
Media played remarkable efforts & the publicity through press coverage in The Hindustan Times, Dainik Jagran, City Plus, Nai Duniya, Hindustan Hindi, Mid Day, Dwarka City, dwarkaparichay.com, Har Khabar etc. created awareness among the residents of the sub city Dwarka.
During ramlila, the Society had made special arrangements of Security with CCTV Cameras all around the ground & , ample Parking space, seating, spacious stage & two Big Screen for public to showcase the ramlila.
The ramlila was performed on a huge stage measuring 110ft long, 40ft wide and 25ft in height.. On Dussehra, the effigies of Ravana, Khubhkarana & Meghnath measuring 75 Ft. and Corruption were burnt. The extensive fire works attracted a huge crowd.
The Ramlila was played under Ratnakar Drametic Art Production, the Director-Mr.K.N.Vishwakarma, Mr. Kamal –Asst. Director, the leading role of Lord Rama by Karan Verma, Rajiv Kumar-Laxman, Sunita as Sita, Jaipal as Ravan, Atul as Hanuman, Pankaj Swami as Dashrath, Naveen Kumar as Ganesh, Pooja-beautiful dancer are the major attraction of Ramlila. But, next time, we’ll hire some more professional artists to attract more public participation.
The Advance & Hi-tech technology were during Sita Haran, Hanuman flying performance and even on Dussehra. Apart from this, the e-magazine by DwarkaParichay was launched during ramlila itself. (Download the e-magazine on Dwarka Ramlila 2011)

In any Ramlila, the most imp person is the character enacting the role
of Lord Ram
I was disppointed to see that many a times, the Lila was suspended mid
way to felicitate all those associated with its organization. This
could have beeen dne either before or after the event Lord Ram was
kept waiting till the felicitations got over it was in bad taste. Hope
the organisers learn from these mistakes.

The show was great but parking was a mess in the evenings and people living in sector 19 / 19A had issues .
I feel if parking can be made better with may be pickup and drop from metro stations like 10 /11/12 or parking is done behind 19/19a may be better.
But over all was great fun for us .

No doubt this was the LARGEST CROWD gathering by Dwarkites.
The Dwarka Ramlila Society Team did an EXCELLENT Job and show for Dwarkites. The modern city is connect with ancient epic sops LIVE from monotonous TV soaps. The ROAR of kids when Ram, Laxman, Hanuman, RAVAN, appearing on stage was remembering ones. In fact kids found I think the RAVAN performance most adorable with reactions they had.
It was nicely done considering in just 4 days from Permission they organised all and put into package.
Must appreciate Mr. Rajesh Gehlot, Dr. Yadav, Robin Sharma and our own RAJEEV SOLANKI .
Then I must give special compliments to Mr. Samay Singh, ACP was regularly found on making rounds and checking security arrangements. So do by SHO Suman Pushkaran, SHO Bhagwan Singh. On the other day the Addl DCP Parmaditya and on Final Day DCP Ohja etc Also the traffic police able to manage with avialable resources the unprecedent Motor vehicles..
The lesson learned must be conveyed and make next year a better organised one..Probably the Ground even felt very short for an event in Dwarka. May be if the Bharat Vandana Park is not ready have to shift there nex time. Considering the volume of Vehicles in Dwarka probably nex time within 2 KM radios no Parking to be allowed and use Metro and arrange buses, as parking went out of gear yesterday.
Mr. Gehlot asked every one to send your suggestion to Ramleela Society so that they could take note and improve.
Also special thanks to UNKNOWN, Police staffs, Security Guards, Various Staffs, artists, techncians and other categories of people involved in the success of a grand show.
The COOPERATION from Dwarkites and Neighbouring areas was immensily boosting.
Me and my family really enjoyed(ofcourse this is the first one we).
