Dear All,

 

Without Prejudice

 

Many of us wanted to find information and transparency in the functioning of BSES.

However, we all are unfortunate. the matter is in the court since 2007 ????? Till date no decision other than THARIK PE THARIK...??

 

Recently I filed an RTI with MCD on payment made to BSES for streetlight they forward to BSES and ofcourse BSES will state the court order. A copy of their reply attached. Anyway this give us atleast one info that the court too dont take immediate decision on such matters.

 

Probably both parties ie. BSES and Delhi Govt joined hand to extend dates or may be something else ? Don't we dont have enough strength to get it vacated?

ONLY 4 hearing since 2007 ? Is it NORMAL ?

1.  Please provide list of areas in where BSES is maintaining the Streetlights fittings and supply to Streetlights in Dwarka Sub-City sector 1 to 23. 2.  Please provide the copies of the bill submitted by BSES for Dwarka Sector 1 to 23 along with list of Streetlight poles under BSES for where Payment sought or paid where street lights were function during the month of December 2011. 3.  Please provide the copies of the bill submitted by BSES for Dwarka Sector 1 to 23 along with list of Streetlight poles under BSES for where Payment sought or paid where street lights were NOT functional during the month of December 2011. 4.  Please provide total Amount paid to BSES for Month of Oct, Nov and Dec 2011 for Dwarka Sub-City for street lights. 5.  Please provide list of Officials/staffs involved in VERIFICATION of Bills with Sites where street lights installed and other clearance of bills submitted by BSES.

Reason for Tarik pe Tarik, Either Govt. lawyer or BSES may be absent in turn (?????and in collusion???).  Or there may be other tactics to delay the decision.  When two parties are hand in glove like this, some organisation like common cause  or Anil Sood's organization, 'Chetna'  can request the court to take appropriate steps for an early decision.

That's intriguing.

I have seen many cases where BSES is just looting the public, nothing short of extortion. And people have no recourse. In most of the governance issues I see that we are one step forward and ten steps backward. Its a desperate situation. When it was with DVB, we had option to use RTI and demand work. Now, we have no rights, BSES has all.

Dear RejimonCK

I remember that a month ago I read,  it was very clear that any group or private company or organisation which receives grant or any type of financial support from Government even the subsidy. Then RTI is applicable as government has provided tax payer's money to that  body etc.

 

Hence RTI is applicable. You may get more information showing above cases.

Yes as per RTI Act the BSES should be under RTI act that the reason the CIC given that order.

however, they went to court and got stayso matter at least in their matter is on hold.

Sushil is right some info could derived from DERC.

that exactly the reason I have used RTI with MCD but you know the MCD guys...do they apply mind?

Today I got at least 3 times a call from a staff in MCD Shahdra asking my help how to upload info into MCD websites for Safaki Karamachari Lists.

As I have filed an RTI as 2 months back MCD promised all SK list will be online. After that I found Not single one updated other than central zone so filed an RTI.

Poor Santiation staffs at Zones they dont know much about computer and internet and also have no guidance.

what ever it we need to find solution to them also..
