Info required: Wedding community halls/banquets in/around Dwarka

I need information about good community halls/banquet halls in/
around Dwarka for a wedding function.

sir,

there is a well made community hall in dwarka sec-8 i have seen it.It is not on the main road & is even not advertised like the sec-7 "SWAGAT BARAT GHAR" made by DDA & advertised on local cable channels also.

It is lying in useless form since people are really unaware of it & there is no caretaker of the hall.Also ,sec-8 hall is double in space as compared to the sec-7 hall.see the info provided by you:-

it's really very spacious & i think would be cost effective as compared to other commuinty  halls exisiting in dwarka.

Yes, definately we all should approach to the concerned authority to utilise it.

 

I think that even meetings of Dwarka forum must also be arranged here at sec-8 hall

so as to promote social & cultural activities here instead of Gokul Garden which i think is costlier than DDA hall & use the provided resource to it's best.

 

I really don't know that who is the caretaker of this hall so as to book it.

 

We must ask CE dwarka that who handles booking of  all the  community halls  in dwarka according to the list as per provided by Rejimon .

 

SINCE,None of the main sectors, have no community halls. in the years to come it will be diffcult for population over 10 Lakh .

I request all  residents of dwarka to please utilize the DDA community halls which are easy on pockets & can also urge DDA to bring more community centers in Dwarka.

One our ELDER Member Shri. B B agrawal was searching some kind of accomdation for marriage function for his guests.

If the same is not availble, then maybe those in sector 22/23 may help him (his cell no 9868162733)

I can't tell abt that b'coz all the time the hall remains closed .I think that since there is no caretaker of it that's why it is lying useless.

I had seen it from outside only you can see the pics of the hall again, in the previous mails.

 

I don't know to whom should i meet in order to get more info regarding it.

Can't we all request DDA to give these halls(particularly sec-8 b'coz it is the biggest of all ) in the hands of some pvt . agency like the one in sec-7 has been caretaken by a pvt. agency..........& the fact is that it is well maintained..........

It should be maintained as NDMC is maintaining in New Delhi areas and booking should be ONLINE. WHY THE EVERYTHING TO HANDOVER TO PRIVATE AGENCY. FOR WHAT THE OFFICIALS ARE GETTING SALARY.

There have been reports in the past that private agencies have misused the banquet halls/ community centres in collusion with tent mafia and caterers.

Before filing application, pl. visitsome nearby Centres, talk to the care taker and persons who uutilized them in the past and ask for their suggestions.  Questions will emerge authmaticaly.  These may relate to their maintenance, facilities available and transparent booking procedure.
