Dear All,

This is the only school I have seen in my life where PARENTS ARE
PROHIBITED. School Authorities has instructed the Guards DON'T LET ANY
PARENT COME INSIDE.

Should we tolerate this kind of HUMILIATION ? or we should do
something.

No parent has time to visit the childrens school, only in emergency
and need one would like to go and solve the issue. But they don't let
you in.

This is one of the issue of school authorities. We have lot many other
issues related to the studies, administration, transport,
activities,etc.
OUR KIDS ARE NOT IN THE SAFE HANDS.

Please make a forum and meet eachother so that we can collectively put
across the problems in front of the authorities.

Thanks

They have a fixed time for parents ie 8.30 am on Wednesdays for meeting the class teacher and the PTA's they have otherwise they do not allow but in case of emergencies they must allow.

My kid had just joined infant this year. one of the kids mom used to visit school everyday which created problem with my kid who also wanted me to go and felt bad since I went only for 1st two days. He had settled down in 2 days but after seeing the mom of other child he used to come back from school and cry and tell 'meri dost ki mammi roj school jati hai aur aap kyun nahin jate'. Once the kids get settled it creates problem if a parent visits everyday. May be for infants they must have stopped but in case of emergencies the parents should be allowed.

My children are also in DPS and I have experienced the same. The parents are screened at the main gate, it is humilating

I am talking about the DPS Dwarka.
You are talking about the parents visiting classroom and disturb the
settled child of Infant. I have seen teachers whose children are in
the Infant and and well settled after crying and when she came child
started crying. I think they also be thrown out of the school.
Who says If one parent out of thousand is doing some stupidity
everyone should be punished.

Regarding timings every parent knows about that wednesday 8.30 am
I think if emergency comes to you on Thrusday you will wait for the
next Wednesday to come.

No parent has time to visit school. Only in emergency or any issue
everyone takes out the time and visit the school.

But this school guards humilites you like a beggers. B'coz they have
been instructed by the authorities to behave like this with all the
parents.

you all must raise this issue whenever you came across the principal/
authorities or whosoever concern.

Because of we PARENTS , There is a school DPS , and a normal lady is
known as Principal/Headmistress Teacher and that Guard (who does not
have his own brain).
If parents are not there, then who these people would be ? They
themselve won't be knowing.

I think all of them has forgotten that first they are parents then
they are GREAT DPS prinicipal/headmistress/teacher /administrator and
gurard.

Why are you personalising it? I mentioned in case of emergencies parents should be allowed.

If you think your kind is not in safe hands nobody had forced you to put your kid in DPS Dwarka there are various other schools.

We are here to sort out a case not to pin point each other that whose kid/mom should be thrown out of school.

in the best interest of peace i suggest we close this discussion and choose some another forum for the personal issue etc. in chat forum etc. which is also an equally important aspect where we can continue to exchange notes back & forth over small but relevant issues.
as we all know, the quality of schools is not up to the standard in Delhi and Govt is also not too keen to enforce itself since the choice of school is entirely a parent's.
In spite of all kinds of criticism about the reputed public schools, there are still a large no. of parents too keen to put their wards in those schools since in Delhi it is the display of Logo & Brands that is our favorite fetish.
