Sir,
I want to draw you attention on the construction of Vegas Mall at Sector 14, Dwarka.Construction of this mall has become nightmare for the residents of Sector 13 and 14.Dust and crush of stone is the only article which is visible all around the area. We are surprised to see that even stone crusher machine is being operated just 10-20 meter away from Radhika Apartment. Residents are in danger and requesting the construction company to take care but it appears they have no regard whatsoever and not taking any action.
I further want to draw your attention on the order of NGT (National Green Tribunal) in original application no 95 of 2014 and order dated 7th April 2015(Copy attached).It clearly says that pollution resulting from construction and other allied activities emitting heavy dust contained in the air and it must be dealt with care as per norms. If preventive and precautionary measures are not taken by the builder on pollution control then it is total non-compliance of MOEF Guidelines 2010 and NGT order no. 95.It’s a clear case of negligence by all public authorities including Police (local SHO).
It further says that all authority including Police must ensure the compliance of the order. Since the construction company is violating the order of NGT we request you to file FIR against the company concerned. Keeping in view the grave threat to health of citizens, the construction activity be immediately put on halt & crusher be sealed

On behalf of residents of Dwarka request you to take action against the construction company for not compliance of the order of NGT especially when there is regular media report about the level of air pollutant in Delhi .
Sir,we are not against any development in the sub-city but this should be at the cost of health and safely of the residents.Many residents have complaint that heavy stone crusher machine is being used and that's too without a cover.
We request you to give instruction to concerned officer to visit the construction site and assess the ground reality.Appropriate direction to construction company may also be given to the construction company so that people will have relief in the area.

What stage of construction is this structure in?
Can a canvass be put around the building site as they do for most commercial buildings under construction.
Have noticed Delhi Metro being very professional in their sites.
Amazingly organized.

4.6.2015 - Yesterday's evening, we have a meeting with the promoters of Vegas Mall to solve the problem of air and dust in the nearby areas. From the promoters side of mall, Vikas Agarwal and Sunil Anand were present while Sushil Kumar and myself have represented the residents and Sushil ji explained the problems. Promoters told that the plant at site is a mixer plant and not the stone crushing plant. They have agreed to erect a cover for stopping the dust spreading in the nearby areas and sprinkling water from water tankers 5-6 times during the day as per requirement.
On our suggestions, promoters offered to meet on Sunday, 7th June, at 10.00 a.m. at site for discussing and action to tackle the problems.

Who all were present in the meeting if we can be a little more specific? Who in particular called Dwarka Forum to organise the meeting? Where was the meeting held? Who among other members who agreed to be a part of the movement were informed about the meeting? Obviously when Sushil ji and Gupta ji were present in the meeting, we all don't need to go in but we could have been informed.
I have my exams going on. Can't take phone calls.
