Goonj awareness cum collection camps in Dwarka on 2 and 6th Oct: Joy of giving week (2-8 Oct)

Dear Dwarkaites,

 

 

I write to you on behalf of Goonj (www.goonj.org) an award winning voluntary organization, headed by Magsaysay award winner Anshu Gupta, which channelizes surplus of cities to villages across India, triggering rural development work in remote parts of 22 states. Goonj reaches this material as a reward to village communities for their efforts on their own issues.  

 

This year, as part of #DaanUtsav, India’s own giving festival (October 2nd to 8th) Goonj is asking everyone to give what they have for another India. In your city several schools, colleges, individuals will be volunteering, raising resources of money and material during this week.

 

 An awareness cum collection camp/drive is being organized in Dwarka as follows:

Collection Camp #1

2nd October, 2018 (Tuesday) 11 AM to 2 PM

Outside Golf View Apartments (opp. OPG School), Plot - 4, Sec- 19B, Dwarka

Collection Camp #2

6th  October, 2018 (Saturday) from 11 AM to 2 PM

Opposite of Venkateshwar international school, Sector 10, near sector 10 metro station, Dwarka

Message from SHO North PS

We at Police Station DWARKA NORTH have recovered 17 laptops and 17 mobile phones and arrested 3 accused persons. 

           These laptops and mobile devices were stolen from cars after breaking their window glass. 

             All may please note that victim of such crime may visit PS Dwarka North to identify his/her laptop/mobile.
