Dear Sir,
Reg: Slip Road Crossing of Sector 5/6.
Slip Road: At the intersection of sector 5/6 road with road number 221 (Kaveri Apartment, plot no.-4, sector-6), during evening hours the traffic willing to take a left turn on road no. 221 toward sports complex is facing delay and has to wait for 2 to 3 cycles of green light before passing through this point.
Now with closure of road number 201 at Madhu Vihar the congestion at this point has further increased. The point is, there is no slip road for left turn on this junction despite availability of sufficient space. The site was also shown to EE Sh Shailender Kumar,EE WD 13,on 16/01/2021 during site inspection dated (refer letter no. SKG/DDA/307). With gradual increase in traffic load, the situation is only expected to worsen in times to come.
It is requested that slip road for left turn toward sports complex be constructed at this junction.
