MCD PROPERTYTAX

When I tried to pay my tax through ONLINE, during processing I got the following message. Please help me.

 

 

Not Found

The requested URL /hdfc/success.php was not found on this server.

Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at 111.93.49.17 Port 80

I had also paid but it was processed smoothly. Please try once more may be congestion in the line because of too much load

you should access the portal using INTERNET EXPLORER and not Mozilla or Chrome. it works only on Internet explorer

The Online Payment portal of MCD for Property Tax is very effective & works well. I have been paying it online for me & my friends since 2007-08 & no problem observed. It need a Credit/ Debit card to pay & has no provision for payment directly through Netbanking as observed till I paid house Tax this June. Alternatively one may generate & print Challan Online to pay at Axis/ HDFC Bank by Cheque/ Cash.

I would like to request the members of DF to share the information for the understanding of all.Could anybody throw light on the following:

1, The BSESprovides 15% rebate on the electrics bills deposited by the CGHs.Do the CGHS pass this rebate to the consumers in the society?

2.If YES! COULD YOU BE KIND ENOUGH TO SHARE THE NAME OF YOUR CGHS?

3.If NOT? WHY NOT?

4.COULD ANYONE SHARE THE CORRECT PROCEDURE FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL.

Surprisingly, MCD property tax site does not have the option "Save the draft" and even it is not allowing me to edit my address.

If you have any arrears and by mistake put an incorrect figure and want to editn no chance. I had to finally pay at the counter because of this.

Agreed. The MCD's Property tax Portal does not allow to edit the arear amount once it is entered in the arrears Field. One Major Problem is that it allows to generate multiple Property Ids for the same Property without giving any warning. It causes inconvenience to both the Property tax payer & MCD.

The Portal although in general working fine may be debugged to resolve these issues.

Nobody can do it straight forward as Portal updation requires approvals. It will take some time. We can report the Issue to MCD Zonal heads who will forward to their IT department for further action.
