Metro workers foil bid to kidnap girl in Dwarka

THE NEWS will surely bring some cheer to the Delhi Metro, facing flak
for a series of accidents. A group of labourers at a Metro
construction site in Dwarka foiled an attempt to abduct a 17- year-
old girl on Wednesday night.
The girl was waiting for an autorickshaw near Sector 22 when two men
travelling in a car pulled her inside and escaped. Hearing her
screams, the labourers, working at a nearby Metro site, chased the
car. As the car sped away, the labourers boarded a bus and asked the
driver to chase the car. The labourers succeeded to stop the car and
rescue the girl.
While one of the abductors managed to escape, another, identified as
Rahul Kumar ( 20), was caught by the labourers.
He was beaten up and handed over to the police. Rahul works as a
driver with a transporter in Gurgaon, the police said. This is one in
a series of crimes reported from Dwarka in recent weeks, worrying the
area’s residents.

their eyes. and its the daily wage labourers who always have guts to
fight back.. Anyway wish that person is jailed for atleast 4-5 years
(i wished that person shud have been lynched like a mad dog by the
labourers as they don't deserve a place in the society.
