Central Government Health Scheme Dispensary in Dwarka.             In sector 10, adjoining to Golok Dham, Delhi govt. has its own dispensary in the three storied building. Each floor has about 10 spacious rooms, waiting space with other basic facilities like toilets, water, parking etc. It is very conveniently approachable having wide approachable road and in a peaceful, congenial, neat and clean atmosphere in the heart (central palace) of Dwarka. This is far better from the present dispensary at Mangla Pury which is housed in a dingy building, filthy surroundings with congested approach and 2-8 kms. away from different sectors of Dwarka. Thus, it is not able to serve Dwarkaties properly. In the aforesaid Delhi Govt dispensary building, hardly 1/3 of the space is being used presently, its third floor is vacant and locked. So up to 2/3 of the total space can be put to use for CGHS dispensary. This building has proper natural light and air. This, for the present, can be utilized for another dispensary of Central Govt. by arriving some understanding between the Central Govt. and the Delhi Govt. till some other suitable alternative is found.       As suggested earlier, I again request Goyal sahib to pay a visit of this building with the officials to find out its suitability. I am ready to accompany if the programme if desired since the need of the Central Govt. Health Scheme dispensary is being felt from a long time. With the increase of retired and working employees of the Central Govt. it will be imperative to have a dispensary in Dwarka itself. In its absence, private doctors are exploiting the employees by charging exorbitantly.             Thanks to Goyal ji to persistently following this issue with the authorities and to make them agree for a dispensary in Dwarka itself.             M K Gupta

it is a good move to explore the possibility of CGHS Disp. in Dwarka. I was in Nirman Bhavan itself for about 15 years. If I could be of some help, anybody let me know. I may also try to approach at senior level in the Ministry at Nirman Bhavan.

Dear Guptaji, Sharmaji and Mahajanji,

As suggested by Shri M. K. Gupta, I visited the place day before yesterday in the evening. To me, it seems workable and Ministry Officials may agree and approve also.

Would some friend find out who should be contacted in Delhi Government's Health Department for giving second and third floors to CGHS on rent (at CPWD Rates) for the period DDA allots a plot for CGHS and construction is completed. Last month DDA agreed to allot a plot for the purpose in the meeting of high level officials.

On getting the reply, I shall take up the matter with the concerned officer in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. I shall get in touch with Mr. Anoop Mahajan then.
