नई दिल्ली, राज्य ब्यूरो : मुनक नहर का मामला एक बार फिर से प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय पहुंच गया है। दिल्ली सरकार ने प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय को भेजे पत्र में हरियाणा द्वारा मुनक नहर का निर्माण पूरा न करने की शिकायत की है। दिल्ली की ओर से यह पत्र मुख्य सचिव पीके त्रिपाठी ने भेजा है। सूत्रों के मुताबिक ऐसा ही पत्र केंद्रीय जल संसाधन मंत्रालय को भी भेजा गया है।

गौरतलब है कि पिछले साल केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री पी. चिदंबरम की अध्यक्षता में मंत्रियों के समूह ने दिल्ली सरकार को निर्देश दिया था कि वह हरियाणा सरकार को 50 करोड़ रुपये अतिरिक्त भुगतान कर दे तो हरियाणा मुनक नहर का निर्माण पूरा कर देगा, लेकिन दिल्ली द्वारा 50 करोड़ रुपये देने के बाद लगभग एक साल बीत चुका है और हरियाणा मुनक नहर के कुछ मीटर हिस्से का निर्माण नहीं कर रहा है। इतना ही नहीं, हरियाणा मुनक नहर से दिल्ली को मिलने वाला अतिरिक्त पानी देने को भी तैयार नहीं है।

दिल्ली अब तक हरियाणा को लगभग 404 करोड़ रुपये दे चुका है और हरियाणा अब भी करीब 106 करोड़ रुपये की मांग कर रहा है। दिल्ली यह पैसा देने को तैयार है, लेकिन दिल्ली की शर्त है कि पहले पानी की आपूर्ति शुरू की जाए।

2003 में बनी थी योजना

मुनक नहर को लेकर दिल्ली और हरियाणा के बीच लंबे समय से विवाद चल रहा है। लगभग 102 किलोमीटर लंबी इस पक्की नहर बनाने का फैसला वर्ष 2003 में लिया गया था। इसका मकसद था कि हरियाणा से दिल्ली आ रहे यमुना के पानी को यदि पक्की नहर के माध्यम से लाया जाए तो इससे लगभग 140 मिलियन गैलन (एमजीडी) पानी रोजाना मिल सकता है। तय हुआ कि इसमें से 80 एमजीडी (302 मिलियन लीटर) पानी दिल्ली और 60 एमजीडी हरियाणा को मिलेगा।

प्यासे रहेंगे ये इलाके

मुनक नहर से मिलने वाले 80 मिलियन गैलन पानी से लगभग 25 लाख लोगों की प्यास बुझाई जा सकती है। दिल्ली जल बोर्ड ने द्वारका, बावना और ओखला में लगभग एक हजार करोड़ रुपये की लागत से जल संयंत्र बनाए हैं, जहां मुनक नहर का कच्चा पानी पहुंचाया जाएगा। इन जल संयंत्रों के माध्यम से द्वारका, ओखला व बवाना के लोगों की प्यास बुझाई जाएगी, लेकिन हरियाणा के नकारात्मक रवैये के चलते ये इलाके प्यासे रह सकते हैं।

I pledge to vote on 15^th April in the MCD election by sparing few hours.  In return, I expect the winning candidate to spare time to attend and raise our problems for the next 5 years.  I will also motivate others for voting as every vote counts and due to short of one vote, the Union Govt. was voted out few years back. we at the cost of Delhi tax payers extended the tracks up to

Gurgaon and Faridabad , Haryana Govt. is asking further extensions

of tracks in Haryana , If our Delhi Govt. cant even bargain on

this issue that METRO LINE will be extend ONLY AFTER MUNAK
CANAL WATER IS GIVEN TO DELHI .

The way this become news on eve of election. What does it mean?

Any way... few points.

 

Per KM Canal Construciton what the cost in Delhi and What the cost in Haryana?

On what basis Delhi Govt pays to Haryana is it on mere BLACKMAILING or some Project status?

Lot need to answer.

Water is BASIC necessity Govt own set standard is 135 Liter Per Person Per Day. While Dwarka not getting basic 1 Litere in some of the areas.

3. 5 MGD what we get now in CT out of which only 2 MGD is for Dwarka which can cater how many people?

 

Dwarkites.. Send you SIGNAL to Authorities and Poltical Parties by CASTING VOTE. Whom you to vote you know better. But dont give any EXCUSE this time.  Its sunday.. exercise your RIGHT.

 

 

Are you all ready to go to Polling Booth ? Start early,

Lack of Political will.. Both govt. rules by same party and party leaders can easily make these state leaders tow the line. But do these big leaders feel we dwarkaites need good water?. If people continue to vote irrespective of water problem, nobody is going to give a damn thought.  Do anything think 50 crore giving or 100 crore giving is a big deal for a state like Delhi?.. Its just delay techniques used by both sides to benefit each other..U write one letter once a year and then they will send another in next 1 year.. and one good news on good news papers just before elections so that people think we are going to get that soon...

Why not Delhi govt. reduce water supply of other areas of Delhi and atleast make Dwarkaites at par with other delhi parts.. Just bcoz for dwarka water is never an election issue.. If politician knew they lost this election of MCD due to this they will give water..

Anyway I can bet this elections also nothing clean signal will be sent by dwarkaites and nothing much will change in coming year..

The timing of this news appears to be linked with the MCD election, deliberately.  Please note that the Centre, Haryana and Delhi are ruled by the same party, then what is the big difficulty to resolve the issue?  If the Party High Command intervenes and issue directions to Haryana to fulfill its promise, the problem can be resolved within no time.

Dear Friends :   Yes !  It is certainly not a big deal to give Haryana Rs. 50 crores or so for making water available to Dwarka, but it is certainly a big political matter as far as denying some basic necessity to lakhs of people is concerned. One wonders if water is really not available in Delhi for the lakhs of people living in Dwarka Societies, then how whole lot of tankers can be had by the CGH Societies by making higher payments to them?  It shows that it is not that much big a problem as it has been made out by the Delhi Govt.,  the same way as RCS continued to hold clearance of  draw of lots of many CGH Societies for years together and cause huge financial loss to its members. Water mafia is certainly in hand and glove with some big and influential people sitting in powerful positions, who are not allowing to make water available to the people suffering from shortage of water, as they are making extra income due to this man made scarcity, at least to a great extent, if not hundred percent.  And Delhi Govt. is not taking any action on such greedy people who are inflicting water shortage to lakhs of  Dwarkaites.

Any gues how much tax payers money paid to these Water Tankers? Probably entire country could LINK through Pipeline the amount spend and will be spending like this method of tankers.

One liner demand shud be if we don't get good water in dwarka before next elections, we will together vote to defeat u.. and we will do the same next time as well whosoever is ruling us..

Now if we complicate things with good bookish things, they know we are divided and then no use at all at divided votebank can't dictate.. This is sad reality in politics i feel;

We generally read suggestions and good suggestions from you but are deprived to meet you.  Please meet the gb sometime or take part in some event.  The next event is on 5th at 7.00 at Gokul Garden, hope to meet you there.  Suggestions on emails are no match of personal interaction and discussing things mutually and then taking a considered decision.  The decisions are implementable only if the large number of residents take part in the discussions then such decision will go to their heart directly and they will be inclined to implement them in letter and spirit.  Merely giving call for some action many times prove hollow.
