Dear all,

Based on your experience, can you tell me a couple of genuine orphanages in Dwarka which have really needy children? We intend to share some food/sweets/goodies on a few occasions, as well as distribute used clothes/books/toys as and when we can.

There is a child welfare org. adjacent to Apeejay school of Management  ,Sector 9 Dwarka.

Also there is a NGO :- Jaagriti which works for children in Dwarka.

lady single handedly for handicap children. You can talk to Meenu,at

There is one named Ashalaya in Palam Village on the road towards Palam Village from Brahma Apartment

One should go for detail profile of any NGO whether registered and getting donation from Govt. Many work really hard some are virtually exist.

Don Bosco on Sec-7 Palam Rd is looking after Street children and provides them food shelter and education.

There is "Children of the World" sector 8 main road near Management institute when one goes from sector 7 to metro station sector 9.

One more question - someone mentioned 'Bal Vihar' in (Bengali Colony) Mahavir Enclave; any views on that?
