i recall in my society this hard softner plant 4 years back.
The water we get was certainly softened but the morning when we use it had really bad taste of SALT
THe RO also have its negative and -+ve.

I dont why all 300 IF NOT POSSIBLE at least 50 Socities get together and file a PIL in Supreme Court ?
Half of the amount spend on RO or Softner and other will be required.
We are shying away from Demanding our BASIC RIGH TO have Drinking water from DJB and Delhi Govt?
When Sheela Dixit could get ample supply in her Motilal Nehru Marg or resident in Dilshad Garden or Mayur Vihar or Karol Bagh or Delhi Cantonement..
WHY NOT DWARK get at least 10 Liter Per day Minimum per person for DRINKING WATER?????

I think time had come we have over 300 socities and I am hopefull at least 50 would come forward !!!

Very valid question.I think it is all negative perception which if floating that due to en-efficient governrnce that nothing will be changed. The basic question is why such perception without putting a genuine efforts.Over a period of time we have seen wherever people have taken up the matter solutions have come.

We request to give consideration on the point raised by Reji.Help from DDA pockets may also be taken. But this is the option available with us otherwise in next coming election we will have another assurance from the parties that water to Dwarka is being ensured. After all choice is ours.

Dear Sri Bhagat,

Last year in March, I had received a proposal from one Sri Deepinder Mohan (092272- 00670), Proprietor, Environment Planning Group Limited, 8G Trade Center Stadium Circle, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad-380009 for a water softener as well as RO system to be billed on water use basis under Build-Own-Operate-Transfer basis or altogether purchase basis. The same is attached.
The offer seemed to be attarctive but we at Gold Croft, Sector-11 could not use it. You may contact Sri Mohan on the given no. As per him, they have installed such a system at NBCC Place, Bhishm Pitamah Marg (near Lodi Road) and have a full-time representative in Delhi also.
Best of luck.

Though the R.O. plant is a must in Dwarka, considering the TDS level
of the ground water which in certain societies is as high as 7000+, the
maintenance part should be considered high due to frequent changes
of membranes, which is an expensive affair, some thing the plant
manufacturers will not mention normally.
I suggest you to contact a firm like Ion Exchange which are the pioneers
in the field, though comparatively more expensive.
Some time ago, the Bhaba Research Institute, carried out intensive
studies on converting the sea water to a potable one and erected
a pilot plant some where in south, the cost per liter of potable water
working out to be far low than one could expect. I suggest to please
get in touch with the Institute for further information and guidance.
I am sure they will be too please to guide and help.
Regards,
P.N.Gupta
