This is the closest branch of a Nationilised Bank from my resident. There they found that the Branch doesn't seems to be like a Bank and moreover is just like any Ration Shop. There were only 3 persons for the name sake, no security gaurd, no fire fighting equipments, no seperate person for enquiry, no locker facilities, no security servillance system, thus the bank seems to be just like a formality in the name of a Bank Branch.
The behaviour of the manager was very rude, irrational and unfavourable to the civilians but he favoured all govt. / retiered Employees only.
The lady sitting next to him was not doing anything just sitting idle and gossiping to her relatives on phone just managing the home affairs and the 3rd fellow was very busy either in verifying the forms or just roaming here and there.
The manager looked overloaded with the enquiries,settelment/ rejection of cheques, pleasing to all govt. employees , attending his personal phone calls, doing very rigrous enquiries about the people coming for opening of new accounts & it seems the way he behaves only 20-30 % of the total %age of people willing to open an account are sucessfull in opening here in this Branch.
All such things, proves that the Branch is a not a user friendly branch for the people other than in Govt. offices, is totally unsafe for the consumer's hard earned deposit and which in terms will ruin the faith of the cusumer in the long run.
Hope the same complaint being forwarded to the concerned SBI head office may do the needfull.

Have u ever visited SBI branch at sector 10 especially on any Saturday where you will find long queue of over 50 customers? However, at the newly inaugurated branch at sec. 11, the condition is very good, cordial staff, good ambience, fully computerized with no queue and instant action. I recommend the persons residing nearby this branch to open account there and enjoy friendly banking for the time being till the branch is not overworked till date.
Pl. visit SBI website at sbi.com and u will find customer complaint box. Lodge your complaint there and I hope for the quick action on your complaint about the working of the branch at sec. 7.
I have tried this on inaction on my request in changing my address from Shahdara to Dwarka by Shahdara branch and was surpresed to get instatnt redressal of and grievance. Thought at branch level, this small work was pending for over one year despite my 2-3 letters by speed post, enclosing required documents.

Instead of keep changing the banks a/cs where you have lesser crowd, than banks which have larger crowed, when and how the banks of larger crowd will improve their quality of services. Have you thought about it ? Only customers like us must bring it to the notice of higher authorities. After opining an a/c with SBI, I was not given ATM card and Cheque book even after four months despite my repeated reminders both verbal and in writing. Finally I warned them to face the consumer court, if they fail to comply with my repeated request. Literally I got two ATM cards and two cheque books within two days. I suggest consolidate all your grievances and experiences and write to CMD or to the Secy, Min of Fin, Banking Division, Jeevan Deep Building New Delhi, and see the difference. Finally drag them to consumer court for deficiency of service.

I am a customer of extension counter (EC) of Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) in NK Bagrodia School, Sector 4. Althoug, It is a very small EC, yet there services are excellent and their behaviour is also good. We should appreciate and encourage the staff of such good banks, company, shops who are rendering excellent services. Members, please share their good experiences also for the benefit of other members.
