Location of the CGHS Dispensary for Dwarka

I don’t know how many of the DF members are Government Servants and
how many use the CGHS facility. But I had occasion of visiting the new
CGHS dispensary meant for Dwarka residents. Though I believe that CGHS
is one of the best welfare schemes of Government of India, I felt
amazed by the location of this new dispensary. Would you believe that
the CGHS could not find any place in mainland Dwarka and had to go to
the remotest part near Sector 1, that too next to the fly over. So
if you visit the dispensary and want to exit, be ready to take the
detour of the entire flyover (about 4 km. ) or do what most Dwarka
residents do: “Drive on the wrong side” . I do not know why this
happens. One of the election offices meant for Dwarka is in the
remote part of Sector-1 again and the other is in deep part of
Nazafgarh. The Property tax office (MCD) is located farther than the
Kakrola More. Are they all mere coincidences?

These CGHS is for a LIMITED GROUP again for Govt servants  or Ex- Servants.

FYI DDA has give allotment of CGHS space, at least 2 location, one i know nex to CSC Sector 23.

The Main focus need we dont have a HOSPITAL in Dwarka. The 750 Bed Delhi Govt foundation stone installe din Aug 2008 after that ?

so that from all WALKS of life people and in case of Major Emergency situation we get medical assistance during GOLDEN Hours.

 

As far as MCD/Electon and other Govt offices. This is what we REQUESTEd to our Hon. MLA from Day one.

Just because Dwarka Voters are Not important and Majority of us are LEAST bothered of our RIGHTS these things are not materilising.

Like these there are many Pendign PRE- INHABITATION stage implimentation required for Sub-City(They say so.. but fact remain its not)

 

What is need a good team of CITIZENS make the authorities and REMIND them of our requirments.

I agree we must all vote and be heard , this will scare them to listen to us.

At present the poor man votes as he is close to the MLA or his contact man hence we all get ignored otherwise they cant get away with all this .

I would like to gently remind that Dwarka is home for a very large number of retired and serving Central Government employees and their family members are also CGHS beneficiaries.  You can see the very long queues in front of Registration Counter, rooms of different medical officers, CMO and the Pharmacy.  Medical Specialist is visiting the Dispensary on every Monday; but with prior appointment and now no prior appointment is allowed as every Monday more than 50 patients-mostly retired government officials in the seventies and eighties are already there.  Others are made to visit Safdarjung Hospital to see the Specialist.  Due to the heavy rush every day, people going to Dispensary to be on queue, seldom return before noon.  Apart from the entire Dwarka, the dispensary covers a large number of villages in and around Dwarka.  I would very humbly request Mr. Rejimon to kindly pay a visit to the Dwarka CGHS Wellness Centre around 9'o clock any day and see the ground reality.  You will then appreciate the importance of CGHS for the residents of Dwarka and the pathetic situation of the Dispensary.

The requirement of 750 bed hospital is of paramount importance to the residents.  But CGHS is also very important for the residents, who are making contribution every month for this service while they are in service and make 10 years lumsum contribution once they are retired for availing the benefit life long.

Is this CGHS scheme run only on monthly contribution of central govt. employees or is based on the funding from the government from tax payers money?

I had mentioned herein on the importance of the Hospital- in response to Mr. Atul email,
I haven't demanded closure of CGHS ? Have I or downgrading them ?

I have seen very closely IN & OUT of Hospitals of Delhi be it Public or Pvt- So  I know very well the situation there where more critical patients comes.

Considering with that CGHS  which mainly for Govt Employees- still have not so disadvantaged group- compare with Commoners non Govt Employees.

 I am sure there are enough no of CGHS beneficiaries who will be taking up this issue Including you to lead to find solution.
