Sealing orders issued by SDM Dwarka to EPF office, Sec-23 to stop illegal withdrawal of ground water

SDM has ordered to seal tubewells in EPF office, Sec-23. These tubewells were installed and running illegaly for last 4-5 years, since the building came up. Humongous amount of water was withdrawn. The refuse water from their  RO plant was so much that it could fill Sec-23 water body in 10 days. But, since it measures 8000 TDS, its almost poisonous for any use.  We pursued with Chief Engineer, in the Water Bodies Committee meetings to stop this extraction. Inspite of noted in minutes, DDA did not do anything to stop it. 

Finally RamanDeep, Sadbhavna Apts, Sec-22 pursued it through RTIs and complaints. Finally there is order to seal these tubewells. The SDM also wrote in official letter that it being a Govt building can not be prosecute, but Raman was no one to leave it at that.

The same S.D.M had earlier shirked responsibility by saying that " said premises is a Govt. building and they stated that they will submit the documentary proof within 15 days regarding bore well."

When prodded again after 15 days, SDM office took 2 months to send inspection team again.
