Sir,

PMOPG/E/2022/0325608.

Reg: Road Damage by Concrete Mixers.

Concerned Department: Delhi Traffic Police.

Many times, it has been observed that concrete mixer trucks running of the roads keep on discharging small quantities of ready-mix concrete on the road surface. These concrete drops harden and permanently damage the road surface. The driver needs to keep the discharge chute in an upward/closed position so that any quality discharged during transit remains on the panel itself and does not drip on the road.

The mixers are not adhering to this basic protocol leading to damage of many road surfaces in the city. I suggest Traffic Police to impose heavy fine on all such trucks plying on road without taking appropriate measure to avoid discharge of concrete during transportation on road surface.

For consideration,

Please acknowledge.

Regards,
