Resp DCP Sir,

I am myself a senior citizen of 70 years and request your kind help on behalf of other sr.citizens staying in front row flats in Societies along road no. 210 from Sec 21 metro station upto Marble market chowk Sector 20 Dwarka. 

1.Most of mini buses operating on Kapashera- Uttam Nagar route are using high pitch musical pressure horns at very loud volume which is highly disturbing. Even after closing doors and windows, the shrieking sounds of horns disturb small children and Sr.citizens.

2. Few bikes  probably with modified silencers go to and fro on this road at high speed making unbearable noise. They can be generally seen in morning hours 6 to 7 am, and night around 8.30 to 9.30 pm, and sometimes in afternoon hours also.

You are humbly requested to kindly help mitigate the problem of unnecessary honking  of horns by these mini buses and also some chartered buses ,few of them with bollywood songs tunes in horns at very high volume. The disturbance is felt maximum by the residents of Plot no. 5-B which is in proximity of a bend in road opposite Vivanta Hotel. The design of road is faulty, as sharp bend before the DDA SFS flats is not only dangerous ( accidents have happened) but also very near to the flats in our Society at Plot no. 5-B. 

Shall be highly obliged if you may please initiate the steps to make both sides of part of this road no. 210 from Sec 21 Metro station to Sec 20 marble market crossing and vice e versa as NO HORN- SlLENCE ZONE.

Sir, you deploy traffic police officials for a week to get a first hand report on the situation and for verification of genuineness of the issue raised. 

With earest hope that action as deemed fit in the interest of citizens will be taken,
