Hi,

Car parking on the road at ramphal chowk creats routine traffic Jam. If we can make multilevel parking then i think this problem can be solved to a great extent.

Space behind Max fort school belongs to DDA as per sign board put in there. This space may be utilsed for Mutilevel parking. and Ramphal chowk lane should be delared as No parking Zone.

Thanks,

Hi,

I think, basement parking also available at Citi Mall,  And  as on date no use of this parking, even shopkeepers are also park their vehicle out side of road. The basic reason of huge traffic Jam, Visitors are park  their vehicle  near of wine shop & bikaner sweets at evening everyday.

The entire Ramphal Chowk market is illegal. The market should be shut down. Its very unsafe.

If all these malls allow the basement parking to be used , it will help a lot of cars off the road and avoid jams on the road and police won't need to pick up the cars

Hi DF participants,
Can someone throw light on what is the ACTUAL STATUS of the entire stretch from sec 7 Ramphal chowk to Brahma Apts T-point?

Whereas, the property dealers claim that the entire area is LAL DORA, so no registry of flats/floors happens, still SO MANY malls, banks, vehicle dealer shops, service stations etc. have become operational on the main road itself (with Vishal megamart being the latest addition).

Further, so many floors are being erected at such a fast pace, encroachment is rampant - even in the narrow internal streets with NO PARKING space

The main road is again in pathetic state - within months of being repaired. streets

Thank you
With regards

Maximum 95 % visitors are local, came for buy some domestic items only, but every one want to come through own vehicle car/bike.

I think at the time of peak hours in morning 8AM to 10AM  & evening 5PM to 9PM, parking should be not allow entire stretch from sec 7 Ganpati chowk to Brahma Apts T-point till find the complete solution.

Vaneet ji,
To best of my knowledge the entire , sect 7 initally known as Harijan Basti Palam Ext. was allotted in 1990 ,  @ Rs. 50/- per plot only residential purpose for Harijans. It is wrong to say that it is a Lal Dora of the village. The entire commercial buildings are Unauthorized  , are being built under the shelter of local politicians, with No amenities , of parking etc. I am surprised how , these Banks etc. have come upon totally Unauthorized  , commercial areas, where as  as per supreme court's direction , such Banks can o prate only in Commercial area.

As it is a commercial area no authority will mingle too much. For the public inconvenience some convenience tax may be paid by business houses.

Thank you Mr. Behl

So the Lal dora thing which the dealers told me is also false...

Last month, I went there in search of residential property, but could not buy - because they dont have the facility of approved home loans. It is all CASH payment basis - which evidently shows the black money is changing hands - in the form of commercial activity which is going on at such huge scale there.

Sadly even sarkari banks have opened their branches on the main road, throwing caution to winds.

In the light of the above facts - providing the arrangement of parking will be like adding fuel to fire - this will further increase the encroachment and illegal construction in this stretch.

Thank you
With regards
Vineet Aggarwal

You are absolutely right Behl ji.
Someone should have noticed the illegal construction in time. Today there are so many big shots in this area that doing something now will take time and special efforts.

It is absolutely right that where there are big shots anything can be shot down. This reflects the prevailing law and order situation. There are many illegal colonies (now regularised) where there is no piped water supply and all using borewells. Where is the authority and where is the rule? Babus dancing to the tune of builders and big shots.

I think these plots were allotted under 20 point programme prior to 1984 , namely Harijan Basti, Palam Extn for residential purposes only. It seems that the sale/purchase of such plots are not allowed. To the best of my knowledge, the title of these properties are not clear, hence can not be transferred through SALE DEED / Conveyance Deed etc.
But inspite of this, the so called big market came into existence. Definitely it is possible due to
Undisclosed shelter of politicians and concerned officials.
Now there is no option except to regularise the market and provide all amenities e g. Parking, footpaths, proper roads etc

the issue is to get traffic and parking problem solved in this area

regarding the status of these plots , several times it has been briefed on this forum ,the following are the facts as per my knowledge

1.the road from brhma apt corner to happy home and CCRT is 100 mts road and it is a notified commercial road by the government and also mentioned in the master plan( list available of notified commercial roads )

2. regarding the transfer of these plots it has also been cleared by the government the orders are with all the concerned DCs,

3. as someone has raised the issue of whether part of lal dora or not , it has been admitted by the govt and written orders are there that all 20 point plots in Delhi are part of the village abadi

4. these 20 point plots are allover Delhi in all villages .

for any other clarification can contact Mr. Randhir singh president of the area RWA

thanks

Dear Residents,
Mr Devesh Nautiyal's suggestion is very valid. Not only from Ganpati chowk to brahma Appts but the road from Shiksha Bharti to Ramphal Chowk also , no vehicle except ambulance etc should be allowed to move. Yesterday there was total chaos due to Krishna consciousness devotees filling the whole road and causing trafic Jam.
