CREAMATION GROUND IN DWARKA SUB-CITY

Dear All,

Finaly MCD put this LONG standing demand of DF and tiresome follow up to another gear.

As they now called NGO and others to maintenane and running.

 

Since the Dwarka Sub-City is diffrent one others, my view would be All the RWA/CGHS/MTA/Associations/NGO of Dwarka Unitedly take a step to this maintenance of this Cremation Ground and put some joint trust or orgnisation ?

 

Such community requirments need a UNIFIED initiatives/action need good maintenance especially serving the departed sould and bereaved families in more caring manner by our own people.

I am sure many would be like to contribute

 

 

I would request Robin Sharma and others to take lead in consultation with our Councillor Mr. Rajesh Gehlot whose support extended from time to time.

We regret to note that the CREMATION GROUND for Dwarka COMPLETION date set was Sept 2008.

 

Already its 2 year passed after this deadline.

 

When do you think this project will be completed ? What exactly the reason for the delay.

Hi all,
I recently attended a funeral in Jallandhar. I was impressed with the
arrangement they have at the cremation ground. They have an
electrically operated glass case where dead body can be kept at home
for last darshans or for waiting close relatives to arrive. This is
like a deep freezer in the shape of a coffin made of glass with small
wheels to provide it mobility. Then they have stretcher with small
wheels for bathing the dead body. These are given on nominal charges
by the cremation ground authority. Then they have a specially made
vehicles to take the dead body to cremation ground. This vehicle has a
glass cabin in the shape of coffin in the centre and space on both
side for six to seven person to stand on each side. It was a great
tribute to the departing soul. I thought of sharing this with forum
and organising such facilities. Of course I learnt that these were
donated by rich traders in memory of their beloved ones.

Anil as always..

We need to get such information and its sources of OEM of such facilities.

1st is to have an organisation and we all give support to get this working UNITEDLY with selfless services to departed souls.

I am sure finance won't be a problem for over 6 Lakh resident of Dwarka.

If all 300+ CGHS and 52 DDA Pocket RWA, 15 + Plotted RWA and MTA  unitedly contribute along with all high networth individuals of Dwarka . I am sure we can make a good arrangements.

Without hurting the Individual Religious sentiments may be community arrange certain activities such as :

1. coordinating with nears and dears, especially messages.
2. arranging the Poojari and other Samagri
3. Various coordination etc.
4. An Information on respective area or apartment and if required local website with photo of the departed soul with details of creamating date, time, other rituals and programmes

This is possible with a large number of our retired senior citizen in each socities/apartment could render help in this regard.

 

With each flat owner not known other one and become Nano family and even some residents satays alone or couples only cases.

 

I dont know much about, I hope these type of initiatives may be good subject to respective family/religious and beleives that people.

 

This is only my expression may not be appropriate and may be better option available with you all.

 first thing will be to make a trust with members from NGO,s ,societies, forums etc and to canvas for donations for the same .

we will have to study various other models where govt.is working in PPP with similar organisations . Lodi road crematorium is one of them ithink .

the old and lonely who can just call for this facility,if
unfortunately required.
I would also appeal that we should DONATE our BODY and save many lives.
I have donated all my organs and keep the Organ Donation Card provided by
ORBO (AIIMS) in my pocket.

Dear Anil ji,
I agree with you that cremation ground at Lodhi Road and Punjabi Bagh
should be model for Dwarka cremation ground. But the facilities I saw
at a relatively smaller town like Jallandhar are more advanced. It is
not that Delhi or Dwarka we can not afford. When a person comes on
this earth, I mean is born He has all the facilities modern hospitals
fully AC. A place where a farewell is to be given why not have neat
and clean environment with an AC hall where Bhajan and Kirtan from all
religion playing in a slow sound. In fact almost all religion say that
Death is actually a freedom from Maya and a new birth. So the
cremation ground should be as beautiful place as possible. And we can
do it at Dwarka as model for others to follow.

Dear All,

We have been demanding proper CREMATION GROUND for Dwarkites.

As you all aware that the INDIA's DAUGHTER- DAMNI was cremated at Sector 24, Dwarka Cremation Ground in wee hours.

As spoken and conveyed to you all there is URGENT need to do the following:

1. Immediately organise the Sanitation , Horticulture and Civil Engineering team at site cleaning the area around
   
2. The Civil Team need to re carpet the entire approach road and parking.
3. The Standing Committee Chairman agreed to have an Architect for make over and improve- This need to put on FAST TRACK.
4. There is NO LIGHTS or even Electricity supply to to the cremation- Immediately organise this.
5. There must be ample benches and shelter to be created.
6. Please get the CNG Cremation System in working.
   

While a new born is welcomed with full enthu, we all must equally ensure a good environment at all cremation ground.

We hope SDMC will not find any excuse and excute this immediately.

PROCEEDINGS OF MEETING WITH DC- MCD ON 2^ND NOV.2011 AT DC OFFICE, NAJAFGARH AT 3.00 p.m.

Mr. Garg DC told that the handing and taking over of the cremation ground at sector 24 is pending and it will be done after the work of the ground is complete.  He ordered his staff to send the requisition about the pending electric work by next week. DC also agreed to share the list of DDA pockets which have been transferred to the MCD.  He informed that the drawings are under preparation for the five community centres in sector 22,23, 12 and two in sector 17 and hoped that in the next two months, tenders will be floated for their construction.

Mr. Gehlot said he will organise meeting at site with all of us and we will put all these points and if any other to include in writing.
The DC Najafgarh with whom I spoken visited the site and organising the cleaning(I been told). Rest of the matter he wanted on DF Letter head to process.

CNG Cremation is there but provisions for Pipe etc pending- Probably during the meeting we will get update.
What is required not DF or others doing let DF and we all get authority to do their Job and not take over their job (this is what my view on such matters).

It has come to be known that Damini/Nirbhaya  was cremated in  hush, hush and the scercy was maintianed  like in d case of Kasabl. In Kasab case it was understandable that the Govt. wanted to avoid any untoward incident...... but in her case what the the Govt. wanted to avoid public support to her.... What problem d Govt. had in giving her the appropriate state honour..... Why did they not do maintianed d same screacy on d death of Indra n Rajiv Gandhi and could have avered d  riots. Then it was insistigated but in her case d govt. wants to suppress d voice of nation...... What kind of pseudo Govt. it is. They r not d same Gandhi as Mahatma Gandhi, his fight was actually d fight for people n nation but these Gandhi's are after, what I do say......so taken to b masiha of people. I am saddened by the approach of Govt.....
