दिल्ली नगर निगम ने एक बहुत सामयिक कदम उठाते हुए अपने नियंत्रण वाले सभी 400 श्मशान घाटों पर लकड़ी के स्थान पर गोबर से निर्मित उपलों के प्रयोग तो प्राथमिकता देने का निर्णय लिया है। यह अनेक लाभों से युक्त एक चिर प्रतीक्षित प्रकृति अनुकूल कदम है। इस कदम से सब ओर लाभ ही लाभ हैं। पर्यावरण संरक्षण के अतिरिक्त यह प्रयास गौशालाओं को स्वायत्त बनाने की दिशा में एक मील का पत्थर साबित होगा। जो गोबर अब तक जल कुंडों को दूषित कर रहा था अब वो कंडों के रूप में ईंधन की भांति उपयोग में लाया जाएगा। चूंकि हमारे राष्ट्र में पालतू पशु धन की विश्व की सर्वाधिक संख्या है, यह गहन चिंतन का विषय है कि पर्यावरण के सतत ह्रास विनाश के उपरांत भी की इस सामान्य सी दिखने वाले निर्णय में वर्षों लग गए ? मरघट में लकड़ी का प्रयोग प्रायः शहरों में अधिक होता है, ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में गोसे/कंडों का प्रयोग प्रचुर मात्रा में होता है।

 

अब जबकि दिल्ली जैसा नगर, जो भारत वर्ष का सर्वाधिक गहन आबादी वाला क्षेत्र होने के साथ-साथ राष्ट्रीय राजधानी होने का गौरव भी सँजोय है, इस कदम के लिए दशकों लगा सकता है, पिछले लगभग पाँच वर्षों से तो में ही इस बारे में लिख रहा था, और भी न जाने कितने व्यक्ति इस हेतु प्रयासरत होंगे।देश के अन्य शहर भी प्रशासनिक उदासीनता के इसका अनुगमन करने के लिए अगले बीस वर्ष तक सोच विचार कर सकते हैं। अभी तो सरकार ने निर्णय भर लिया है , इसे मूर्त रूप देने में संभवतया अभी कुछ वर्ष और लगेंगे। एतदर्थ अनुरोध है कि देश के सभी नगर निगमों को इस संदर्भ में सूचित कर निर्देश दिया जाए के वे भी अपने क्षेत्र में इस प्रकार के व्यवस्था स्थापित करने लिए समय बद्ध योजना का निर्माण कर पर्यावरण संरक्षण में सहयोग करें ।

I had sent /, brought this matter to all the ministers knowledge and departments  vide email on 10.11.25.. and also sent  number of reminders... in which I had asked if you would take action / wake up only if someone dies And that is what happened. Forwarding that mail....

Respected  sirs,

I would like to lodge this below complaint with you as we are really fed up and have no option except to bring it to your knowledge for immediate redressal.

I am a resident of Possangipur, Janakpuri. As the following issues have not been resolved for the past several years, I have no choice but to bring this to your attention.  I am raising this issue with the hope that a solution will be found soon.

1. Construction work has been going on near Janakpuri C2B Super specialty hospital for several years. Sometimes they dig, cover, and dig again. Is there no end to this? What did we, the residents, do wrong to experience this tragedy? Vehicles are also plying on one side.  C2B Janakpuri super speciality road: Dug for almost 2 years and one side functional causing extreme traffic.

2. A few months ago, a road was dug up 400 meters from there, through the gate of Possangipur Colony, making it impossible to even walk, and there has been no solution to this too since long period.  Possangipur road: broken tree caused damaged road on 18 august, 2025.  Multiple complaints raised but no action.  In sep the road was further dug till gas godown.

Sir, we don't know which department is doing this. Is it PWD, DJB, gas pipe work, govt directly or contract work.  Whoever it is, we request you to direct the concerned deptt to  find a solution to this as soon as possible. 

When the fog comes again, visibility is reduced to 10 meters... Do we only become vigilant when there is an accident/ life loss??

yes sir... the reason I am sending this complaint is because my daughter and family live there.. so I am making a complaint on their behalf. I am very familiar with the area... last time I sent it to all the media after the accident

Thankfully few MPs started raising & these very words.

Citizens required to put pressure, unfortunately signature campaign got only 300+ (imagine).
