Dear Sirs,

An important demand of Dwarka Forum has been met. Now, Dwarka will have its own exclusive MLA. As per Delhi's Chief Electoral Officer's notification published in today's papers, Dwarka has been shown as Assembly Constituency No. 33. Palam constituency has been has been given serial number 37. (Vide Today's TOI and HT).

Thus, a long-standing demand of the Dwarka Forum for a separate MLA has been met. Let us thank to the members of the Forum who fought for separate MLA for Dwarka.

Dwarka should has separate Councillor (s) so that he can pay undivided attention for the development of the ares. Problems of Matiala, Palam and nearby areas are different than that of Dwarka.

DF is marching ahead, we should continue concerted efforts  for our other just demands.

Dear mr gupta
This is amazing, I have been aware of this demand since a long time. But the speed by which this has been expidited by dwarka forum is very good.

Based on form 1D received from BLO & information from SDM(Elections),
Pocket 1 sector-10 Dwarka figures in list no. 59 of constituency no.
34 ( MATIALA ).

As I understand, Dwarka constituency no. 33 is erstwhile Nasirpur.
Actually, Dwarka subcity residents would be voting in 4 different
assembly constituencies.

Celebrations, I believe, would be premature.

Mr. Gupta there nothing wrong on your part as you shared the info appeared on news paper after exercising a good amount of time in reproducing it.
There is no change in notification, Dwarka still remain divided and Dwarka Forum raised it as we all know. As this is not possible to change now probably next delimation we would be able to represent case.
Whether celebration is PREMATURE or NOT..In my opinion we tried our best to convey our view on this issue. What ever said and QUESTIONED; DF Members done their bits to the best possible to register views at approprite forum. DF members will continue to fight for ONE CONSTITUENCY or MORE with all Sectors as one and so do Wards. There should't be any doubt on this.  DF made a good impact in this election enrollment.. FOR RECORD over One Lakh Twenty Thouand citizen were enrolled in Dwarka Alone(as per CEC) This achievement is result of RTI filed by our DF member Anil Nayal with Election Commission and made BLO visiting almost all CGHS/DDA Pockets.  This weekend the BLO came to us and verified our names on the list and found the photographs mentioned were diffrent from ours. The BLO assisted us to fil the form and taken new photographs. This is the case with most of the CGHS/DDA pockets. In our society over 300 new voters registered this session.

Thank you mr. gupta for your contribution and keep up the spirit.

Together we will fight for the betterment of Dwarka Sub-City.

This has reference to Election public Notice published today in HT on
Asst Electoral Regn Officers (AERO) of different Delhi constituencies.

I spoke to Sh PL Meena, AERO (Dwarka constituency no. 33) today on
98187-01099 who confirmed that Nasirpur has been renamed as Dwarka &
there is NO sector of Dwarka under its jurisdiction.

I also spoke to Sh OP Chahlia, AERO (Matiala Constituency no. 34) on
98992-32325 who confirmed that majority of Dwarka sectors including
sectors 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 & most of villages like Matiala, Kakrola, etc
are under its jurisdiction. As he was driving, he could not furnish
complete data.

Mr. Chahlia also hinted that sectors 7, 8, 9 are under Palam (no. 37)
and probably sectors 22, 23 are under Bijwasan (no. 36).

I hold DF members in high regard & no offence was hinted. I hope, this
clarifies the situation on electoral constituencies of Dwarka subcity.

Dear Sirs,

I also spoke to Mr. P.L. Meena, Supdt in VREC for 33-Dwarka and he told me to contact Mr. Sharma of Palam constituency. Mr Mahesh Tak is right and I presume that I made undue haste by jumping to the conclusion.

  1. EC has tried to mollify Dwarkaties by changing the name of one of its erstwhile constituency to Dwarka.

3. Thus our demand for a single constituency covering Dwaraka in toto remains unfulfilled by leaving us high and dry. Can anything be done before the next delimitation?

To add salt to the injury, Dwarka citizens would be electing 2 MP's.

Dwarka(33) & Matiala(34) would be electing West Delhi MP whereas

Details obtained from Delimitation Commission are as follows:

6-West Delhi MP Constituency

26.Madipur (SC), 27.Rajouri Garden, 28.Hari Nagar, 29.Tilak Nagar,
30.Janakpuri, 31.Vikaspuri, 32.Uttam Nagar, 33.Dwarka, 34.Matiala and
35.Najafgarh

7-South Delhi MP Constituency

36.Bijwasan, 37.Palam, 45.Mehrauli, 46.Chhatarpur, 47.Deoli (SC),
48.Ambedkar Nagar (SC), 49.Sangam Vihar, 51.Kalkaji, 52.Tughlakabad
