As per current procedure no periodic attendance/absence report is sent to individual employees by administration division. As such this becomes a choose & pick practice. Despite fixation of biometric machines punctuality and irregular attendance still remains a big issue. Now with mechanised attendance module it is very easy for administration to periodically send attendance/absence reports to respective employees in an automated manner and also initiate action directly based on the records available. In the absence of any requirement to generate any specified periodic reports or MIS and its communication to employees, the issue remains subjective.
