(i) The overhead sign board fixed some time back fixed in Dwarka have small font size not large enough for convenient reading by motorists. In reply to an RTI DDA informed that these are as per specifications. However, the font size on earlier OHSB are bigger and are visible conveniently. The font size on new sign boars at best is good for shoulder mounted boards. Please inform the facts and reasons for difference in font size of old and new OHSB. Also provide the relevant extracts from regulatory requirement.
(ii) There are several empty tree guards/squares for past several years, at least in my neighbor hood for past 12 years no one has come for re-plantation. Please inform in detail what action has been taken by Horticulture Department this year for refiling of old empty tree guards and tree squares.
(iii) For past several years potholes in our area have not been repaired it seems whole staff is either sleeping or busy in corruption having no time for repair of potholes. False certificates of pothole free roads are being issued by EE-WD9 without any fear to senior officers. Please inform where should residents of Dwarka approach for repair of potholes.
(iv) About new round created on road between sector 10 & 11Darka. (a) There are 2 trees on the middle of road on this new round about. Please inform whether application seeing permission to relocate these trees has been moved. If yes, when these shall be shifted. (b) The height of footpath & central verge where zebra crossing has been painted has not been aligned, this indicates careless execution of project disregarding UTTIPEC guidelines. Please inform who all are responsible for such dereliction of duty liable & liable for disciplinary action. |
