understand there is a old age home for senior citizenms in dwarka .can someone post me the detals at the earliest

There is one named GODHULI SITUATED IN SECTOR 2, ON DWARKA-DABRI ROAD, opposite  Sanjat Behari property dealer's office, on main road.  Another has been constructed and is yet to open, adjacent to Rajnagar, office of Medical Council of India.

Hi
There are 2 old age homes in dwarka and needs some ref (MLA/MP) to get somebody admitted there......there's a long waiting ........understand that its 4 star properties with all amenities......and not very sure but there are some monthly charges too.......but if there's somebody very needy I can try to get him the place as I m a office bearer with BJP and can get admission there.......

Thanx mr Bhati can u give some contact no...etc of the old age home, which is yet to be opened near MCI.I checked up Godhuli is full and there is a deposit of  Rs 2 lakhs besides there is a long waiting. can u advise how to go ahead. Thanx  a lot.

Perhaps we all shud be ashamed that such old age homes are coming up in India too.. For someone wihtout kids, its fine but if someone is having kids and still looking for a place there permanently, then I feel someone should must feel ashamed..

Today the children are feeling proud to keep their parent in old age home by meeting the expenses. They will realised when they become old and their children kick them out. We must realised that there is no question to get our self. emotional and give our hard earned money to our child and put our self in a postion to beg for our survival. Ihave so many live example who have faced such situation and repented thereafter .we must not to show love and put ourself in trouble.I agreed to feel ourself ashamed to find out Old aged home. These are hard fact of life and one should accept it
There are home for aged people and there is a growing
demand for it , I think now in all DDA pockets and CGHS
flats sector wise should be a planing for having such homes
where old people who are helpless may be housed and 
community takes the responsibility .

I think grass root level people or organisation must make initiative- . If not possibe for OLD AGE Home at least make OLDERs to make Group. I am very impressed with out SUKH DUKH KE SATHI elders in Sectro 22/23. Only appeal other sector residents to replicate it.
A seperate HOME.... on Fathers day.. I would say.. NOT A GOOD Idea but todays world one read so many attrocities, these are also required.
 
Dwarka have still have enough space for Institutional Land . Unfotunately the PRICE of land is not reachble level.
Some of the seniors if could take initiative and find out status by filing a RTI with Delhi Govt on that OLD AGE home near MCI in Sector 8?

Dear Krisna , I do agree with your sentiments. Home is the first best place for old people, But this option is the second best if maintained properly. This gives indepndent life and not be burden on children who work 12-14 hours a day to make two end meet.This also gives a life of dignity, freedom, secuirty and above all peer group compnay to our elders , who deserve it. I tend to agree with Sh. Bhardwaj.  A joint family is best suited for the aged ones to be living with the family.  However in nuclear  families particularly where both son and daughter-in-law are working it is best for the old ones to be living in a old age home where they will have constant company and care which they need the most.
