Tuesday May 27 5:30 p.m. SHARP! - full costumes (no makeup)
5:30 - 7:00 Get your costumes on in the dressing rooms (or come with
them on)
Then everyone will gather in the Dance Room.
The Technical crew will be on stage doing light and sound checks in
the auditorium during this time so be prepared to be called out on
stage if required.
Techs will assist the leads in putting on and taking off the mics.
The techs are the only people allowed to handle the mic equipment. If
you have any trouble with your gear, get the tech to help you.
We allowed to bring something to eat, but please make sure to avoid
messy foods. Snacks, water etc are OK in the Dance Room only. Bring
something to keep you occupied, books and games are good.
7:00 Show time! I will begin just as we will do the show, Dolly's
guys, be in position back stage at 6:55. Listen to Alicia Barnes our
Stage Manager and the Assistants, but also listen to where we are in
the show on the audio monitor so you will be ready to go on.
7:00- 10:00 We will run through the show mostly straight through.
This rehearsal is mainly to get used to the lighting, sound and sets
and allow the stage crew to dial in the technical parts of the show.
We may stop and re-run certain sections of the show as necessary.
Please use your time in the dance room effectively to practice and
prepare to show your stuff when you get on stage.
We were able to finish up the set today and I guarantee will love it!
Thanks to everyone that pitched in. Note: The stairs may be tempting,
but please stay off of them unless you are supposed to be up there.
The show may seem a bit rough at a few spots, don't worry this is the
time for us to polish it up, we will get there, you will see!
Thank you all for working so hard over the past few months - I look
forward to an outstanding and entertaining show and hope you have had
as much fun as I have had.
- Dana (the producer guy)
