Now we need to take off for practical exposure to meat and meat business. Class representatives are advised to plan with me the visits to different places. Moreover, each assignment group should send me the detailed procedures (and materials you require) of all the chemical tests used in meat inspection. Better first enlist the chemical tests, their function, chemical and equipment requirements, and send me by e-mail. All tests will be performed by each group in next couple of weeks. Therefore, the deadline for sending me the information is Sunday; so that we start preparing and performing by Monday. Moreover, I wish all groups avail the opportunity of animal slaughter on large sacle on Eid-ul-Azha and perform post-mortem of animals. Collect helminths from GIT of slaughtered animals and preserve in 10% Formalin after thorough washing. If Formalin is not available try kerosene oil after washing.
